Ecosystem means that any organism found in a place has a relationship with the environment and with other ecological community.
Ecosystem refers to the inhabited environment in which biotic components and non-living components are interdependent continuously.
The German zoologist Ernest Haeckel first used the term ecology in 1886. He is called the father of ecosystem.
The term ecosystem was first used by Tansley in 1935. The basic concept of ecosystem is dynamic and not static. it is an open system.
Local ecosystem- This type of ecosystem is found on land. In this system, biotic components and non-living components interact with each other.
Aquatic ecosystem- Under this type of ecosystem, aquatic sites such as ponds, rivers, puddles, seas etc.
Human ecosystem- This type of ecosystem is called artificial ecosystem. Humans have a major role in its formation. Like- Aquarium, Field etc.
Components of ecosystem - There are mainly two types of components under this, biotic components and abiotic components.
Biotic components - A biological component is formed by mixing plants and animals. It is also of three types. producer, consumer, decomposer.
Producer - It consists of those components, which make their own food. For example, all green trees and plants. Producers always maintain a balanced CO2 and O2 ratio as well.
